I can imagine I am in a fairytale, the girl who sold the matches is my friend, the ugly duck becoming more and more beautiful and so on. What a beautiful place! So we can also call Christmas “Snowy Lovely Day.”
On Christmas Day, shops are red and green. There are so many Christmas cards, Christmas hats, Christmas dolls and many colourful things. So shops look very beautiful. 我为什么而活着
三种朴素而强烈的感情控制了我的一生：对爱的渴望，对知识的追求以及对人类苦难的难以遏制的同情。这三种感情像飓风一样把我卷到痛苦的.深渊，忽东忽西，捉摸不定，直至吹向绝望的边缘。
我寻求爱。首先，是因为它给我带来莫大的.欢喜——这欢喜是如此之大，我宁愿以余下的生命来换取几个小时这种快乐。第二，是因为爱可以使人从孤独中解脱——人处在那可怕的孤独境地就像是胆战心惊地站在世界的边缘眺望冰冷、深不可测而且毫无生气的地狱。最后，是因为在爱的结合中我看到了圣徒和诗人们幻想的天堂的雏形。这就是我所寻求的，虽然这可能是人生难以得到的美好事物，但这就是我最终所找到的东西。
我以同样的激情来追求知识。我想了解人的内心，我想知道星星为什么会发光，而且我也努力理解毕达哥拉斯哲学使数字支配变化的能力。在探索知识方面我只取得了一点成绩，但不是很多。

with equal passion i have sought knowledge. i have wished to understand the hearts of men. i have wished to know why the stars shine. and i have tried to apprehend the pythagorean power by which number holds sway above the flux. a little of this, but not much i have achieved.
love and knowledge, so far as they were possible, led upward toward the heavens. but always pity brought me back to earth. echoes of cries of pain reverberate in my heart. i long to alleviate the evil, but i cannot, and i too suffer.
this has been my life. i have found it worth living, and would gladly live it again if the chance were offered to me.

The story in the picture just tells us that. Two person dug for the diamonds but they didn’t know how far they are from diamonds. One of them dug very fast and he had dug a long tunnel close to the diamonds. However, he gave it up. Another dug a little slow, with the belief he would succeed.Maybe the truth is he would succeed.
In fact,almost all people work hard for success, but not all people can success. Many people have a question about how to make success. In my opinion,the key is persistence. As we all know,the way to success are full of failures and difficulties. People should never give up when meet them. If you give up, you can’t be successful. No matter how hard it is, persistence must be there.

Which is more important in life， knowledge from the books you read， or personal experience you gain in reality？ The answer may vary from person to person. The young， educated may emphasize the former， and the old may stress the later. But in my opinion， they are of the same importance.
Experience is priceless. How to become an efficient secretary？ How to prepare for your first child to come into the world？ There is so much experience we need in careers， in life and even in academic studies. It helps one deal with the problems with ease and confidence. Especially activities and to accumulate experience of different kinds is more crucial.
Experience， however， is limited in terms of time and space. For one thing， it is impossible for anyone to experience all the important events and meet all the famous people. For another， as the speed with which skills are obsolete and new problems crop up is unprecedented because of the fast development of society， experience is far less adequate. Depending too much on it only leads to narrow-mindedness and prejudice.
One way to compensate for it is to read books. Books of various kinds can bring us almost unlimited additional experience. From books you can not only trace back to the wisdom of our antecedents， but keep up with the latest developments of science and technology. To be sure， its secondhand experience. But it is the ideal supplement to our own limited experience. Few of us can travel around the world， or live long beyond one hundred years， but all of us can live many lives by reading books.
Both book knowledge and personal experience are essential. While experience makes one more resourceful， book knowledge makes one more learned.
